Whale shark and fisherman

Description

There are a few places where local fishing communities discovered, that if they focus their efforts on protecting and maintaining the environment they live in, it's much better than to catch everything and leave the seas empty. Such a community is the village of Oslob on Cebu island, the Philippines, where local fishermen feed Whale sharks (Rhincodon typus), the largest fish in the world, to attract tourists who can observe these gentle giants from close. However, some say that these methods change the migrating habits of animals and are thus bad for the ecosystem. The truth must be somewhere in-between. Oslob, Cebu Island, Philippines.
