Balancing act

This Cratena peregrina or pilhrim hervia grazing on hydroids is about 2 centimeters in length. The colorful spikes on its back are used as gills. They can be found at depths ranging from 5 to 50 meters (this guy was at about 9 meters). Adriatic sea, Croatia.
